Alcohol Renewal
The 2024 alcohol renewal will begin on October 20th, 2023. It will only be open until December 1st 2023. All Applications received after that date will be charged a penalty. Application must be filled out in the PDF, print the application, sign and return to us. We will not be accepting any applications on Wednesday’s. Incomplete applications will NOT be accepted.
All businesses within the city limits of Flowery Branch that are interested in serving or selling any type of alcohol beverage (liquor, spirits, distilled beverages, beer, and/or wine) are required to obtain an Alcohol Beverage License. Beginning on January 12, 2022, new applicants will be required to start the licensing process directly with the state of Georgia through the "Centralized Alcohol Processing" Portal - GA Dept of Revenue - Application Portal
Beginning on September 6th, 2022, renewal applications will be required to start the licensing process directly with the state of Georgia through the "Centralized Alcohol Processing" Portal - GA Dept of Revenue - Application Portal
OCGA 3-2-7.1 required the GA Department of Revenue to implement a statewide centralized application process for retail alcohol licensing. This new process ensures the initial application is sent simultaneously to the State and City. This is managed through the Georgia Tax Center portal, which can be accessed via this link: GEORGIA TAX CENTER.
