Plaque is on the Wall!
It is official and the plaque is on the wall!!! A special thanks to City Manager Bill Andrew and the Flowery Branch City Council for the communities beautiful new City Hall and Police Department!
Flowery Branch officials had it set in their minds to create a building convenient for the community that housed the Police Department, Planning Department, Finance Department and Administrative offices and also contained a community space for the public to rent and use.
Prior to moving into the new building the City departments were housed in three different buildings on Main Street. This was inconvenient for the public and took up valuable commercial space. The City issued an RFP for development and is currently considering different options for the Main Street buildings.
If you haven't had a chance to visit the new city hall come by any time for a tour!
