Flowery Branch Municipal Court presides over all city ordinance violations as well as misdemeanor traffic, shoplifting and possession of marijuana offenses.

 

If you have received a citation in City of Flowery Branch
To dispose of a citation you have four options:

 

Option  1: Pay your fine

You may pay your fine in person at the Flowery Branch Police Dept., 5270 Railroad Avenue, Flowery Branch, Georgia.

Option 2:

You can mail a check or money order to P.O. Box 757, Flowery Branch, Georgia 30542.

Option 3:

You may use a credit or debit card (Service fee may apply) and go online to pay at www.ezcourtpay.com or call 1-800-262-0128 To use this option you must have your citation number. Once paid, you do not have to appear in court.

The Judge allows the court clerk to reduce the cash bond for certain offenses, if the issue has been resolved and proof of resolution is provided.

Option 4: Appear in Court 

You may appear in court on the date and time notated on your citation. To receive a continuance you would need to contact the court. 

You may call the Flowery Branch Police Dept./Municipal Court at 770-967-6336 for cash bond amounts, and other questions you may have. Please allow two business days for citations and cash bond amounts to be available on line.

If you fail to pay your fine or appear in court, a bench warrant and contempt of court notice will be issued for your arrest. This may result in your driver’s license being suspended.

There is a dress code in Municipal Court, casual or business attire is requested. Shirts and shoes are required. Hats are not allowed to be worn in the court room. Excessively revealing clothing will not be permitted.

No weapons of any kind are allowed in the courtroom, this includes small pocketknives. Cell phones and pagers must be turned off in the courtroom.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: 

Can I speak to the Solicitor or the Judge before my court date? “You will have the opportunity to speak with the Solicitor before Court. The Judge will only hear information or testimony relative to accusations in open Court. We do not release the telephone numbers for the Solicitor or the Judge.” 

If you need to speak with the Solicitor prior to your court date and it is an urgent matter that the court clerk can not help you with your information will be forwarded to the Solicitor.
