Stone Bridge Village Upgrades NB Exit RampPublished: 08-31-2007Georgia Department of Transportation - News Release - Ramp Work starts Tuesday @ I-985’s Exit 12. Stone Bridge Village Upgrades NB Exit Ramp. August 31, 2007 - GAINESVILLE -- Georgia DOT announces the new Stone Bridge Village retail center on Spout Springs Road will upgrade the exit ramp from I-985 north to Spout Springs Road starting Tuesday, September 4th. Teri Pope, DOT Communications Officer said, The developers of Stone Bridge Village are upgrading both Spout Springs Road and the exit ramp from I-985 north to Spout Springs Road “ Exit 12. Beginning Tuesday, the 4th the right turn lane of the northbound exit ramp will close for about 4 weeks. The developers are widening the existing exit ramp and adding another right turn lane. When the work is finished to the ramp we will have two right turn lanes onto Spout Springs Road. The right lane of the ramp will close mid-afternoon Tuesday, September 4th. The right turn lane will remain closed around the clock for approximately 4 weeks, weather permitting. All northbound exiting traffic to Spout Springs will have to use one lane. Delays are expected. Georgia DOT urges travelers to call 511 for updated information about [road/lane closure or construction project.
