CITY OF FLOWERY BRANCH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ANNEXATION AND REZONING APPLICATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN (pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 36-36-1) that a public hearing will be held before the City of Flowery Branch City Council to consider request from Bill Finnick, on behalf of Avery Dennison and the Gainesville and Hall County Development Authority, for annexation and rezoning of a 39.844 ± acre property located at 4350 Avery Dive. The property is identified as tax parcel numbers: 08073-000003D and 08073-000003A. The applicant is requesting to annex and rezone the property into the corporate limits of the City of Flowery Branch (pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 36-36-20). The property is contiguous to the present corporate limits of the City of Flowery Branch. The 39.844 ± acre property is developed with two industrial buildings and a corresponding septic field. The property is currently zoned I-I (Light Industrial District) Hall County. Following annexation, the applicant is requesting a zoning designation of Flowery Branch M-1 (Manufacturing and Industrial).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mayor & Council have the power to impose a different zoning conditions from the requested, and impose or delete zoning conditions that may change the application considerably. The public is invited to attend this meeting at City Hall, 5517 Main Street, Flowery Branch, Georgia.

This matter will be tentatively scheduled for consideration and first reading by the Flowery Branch City Council to approve the applications on September 19, 2007 at 9:30 a.m., and the second reading is tentatively scheduled for October 3, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in City Hall Council Chambers. The Flowery Branch City Council has the authority to revise the language of the proposed applications considerably and may do so as appropriate during first and second readings of the ordinance.
PERSONS INTERESTED IN THIS MATTER are invited to review the application for annexation and rezoning which is on file with the City Clerk of the City of Flowery Branch and to attend the public hearing at the date, time and place provided in this notice, to express their opinion on this matter.
