Atlanta Falcons Camp Huge Success
Published: 05-03-2005
The Atlanta Falcons held training camp on Saturday, April 30th, and opened the camp to the public (see map). The City of Flowery Branch was asked for help in carrying off the enormous task of safety, traffic control, logistics, and more. The event went superbly with approximately 1,000 fans coming out to enjoy their sideline seats to such players as Michael Vick, T.J. Duckette, Brian Finneran, and the entire Falcons roster. | | |
The fans were thrilled to be watching as Coach Mora and his staff ran his teams through numerous drills. The Falcons will hold two week-long camps this summer. The first will be in July and the second in August. Check this web site often for the exact dates, or click on the Falcons logo in the upper left corner of this page. Falcons' officials from Coach Mora to Vice Presidents of the organization were extremely complimentary of the efforts of the Flowery Branch staff in making the camp a well-organized event enjoyed by all. City Management was elated over the outcome, and thanked those who were truly responsible, including the Flowery Branch Police Department, the Public Works Department, the volunteers, and the Hall County deputies who participated. |
