10-15-08 Car Show and Chili Cook Off - Great Success

On October 15, 2008 the Mayor and City Council recognized the master minds behind the September Car Show and Chili Cook Off that has been held in Flowery Branch for the past five years. Contestants come from all over to participate in the cool cars or hot chili cook off and the City experienced record numbers at the event. Hats off to Steve Soucie and Charolett Cornett for overseeing the entire event. A special thanks to Billie Fry for overseeing the V.W. Bug portion of the car show and Johnny Smith for his oversite with the Classic Car show. Can't wait to see what is up your sleeve for next year! Certificate of Appreciation presented to Steve Soucie.
