June 1, 2009 Mayor Presents Certificate

On June 1, 2009 Mayor Hirling attended the Boy Scout Troop 228 weekly troop meeting to present them with a special certificate of appreciation. Mayor Hirling read the plaque as follows:

“in recognition of the many hours of planning, organizing and directing of the Flowery Branch Spring and Fall Festivals; and in recognition of Boy Scout Troop 228 being an integral part of making Flowery Branch a great place to live, work and play. “

The troop not only organizes and runs the Spring and Fall Festivals they have assisted with the Keep Hall Beautiful Spring Clean – Up for the past few years as well as presenting colors for special meetings.

This troop is a true asset to our community!
